Congratulations Leah!!!

It’s a great day, it’s not only Cinco de Mayo (get some margaritas going), today a good friend graduates. SO PROUD OF YOU LEAH!

For those that don’t know, her going back to school as a full time student, was a hugs sacrifice for her and her family.

Leah, you are an inspiration and I couldn’t be prouder of you!

So rather than dedicate a super sappy sad song… it’s time to par-tay!

Song Of The Day! – Beastie Boys

A lot is going on today.

Let’s start with some sad news, Beastie Boys Co-Founder Adam Yauch passed away at the age of 47. He’s been battling cancer since 2009 and appears to have lost the fight. Read more about Adam in this Rolling Stone article.

So in honor of Adam’s passing, I’m playing my favorite Beastie Boys song. NO SLEEP ‘TIL BROOKLYN!!! \m/^_^\m/

Also today, The Avengers finally opens! Who saw it already? I haven’t. I will some time this weekend. Shhh, don’t tell me anything.

NERDS REJOICE! It’s Star Wards Day. May the cookies be with you LOL. Who’s geeking out and dressing up in Star Wars costumes today?

Oh, I’m proud to announce that I am finally moved, and slowly settling in. Thank goodness. Love my new commute and I am enjoying my new neighborhood.  Hurray!

I know I’ve been MIA for a few days. I’ve been so busy lately. With work, moving, and playing photographer for a family Sweet 15, I’m pretty tried. Still trying to recover from the weekend.

When thinking of today’s song of the day, I really wanted to share a song that meant something to me. And well hopefully it would mean something to you.

Once in a while we come across a song that you almost think the write had you in mind when they put word to paper. It expresses everything that’s in your heart in a way you honestly couldn’t come close to describing yourself. I of course have a ton of those. But this Jessie James song is just so right in so many ways.

How many of us have felt almost worthless after a break up? You don’t think it’s possible to recover.
