Happy National Donut Day!

This is how we celebrated in my house!

Today is National Donut Day! Forget the calories and give yourself a delicious treat. I’m simple, give me a glazed one and I’m good ^_^. Which one is yours?

Here is a little on National Donut Day:

  • National Doughnut Day started in 1938 as a fund raiser for the Chicago Salvation Army. Their goal was to help the needy during the Great Depression, and to honor the Salvation Army “Lassies” of World War I, who served doughnuts to soldiers.

If you’re in Manhattan this morning, stop by 42nd & 2nd. Pix11 is giving away free donuts!
